Week Four: Capturing It

AraCollectiveRECT.jpg

This week was a big one. A photographer came to town! Sarah Shreves (http://www.sarahshreves.com/) brought all of her genius, creativity and laughter with her and in four days we trekked all over this country that has inspired much of Collection One. Church ruins and cobblestone roads, jungle hideaways and teal lake waters, traditional Guatemalan homes and witnessing the process of our naturally dyed, handwoven textiles. All these places and people have been the direct influences and inspirations for this collection, for this company. Collection One is rooted in this place.

I can’t wait to show everyone what was captured but, until then, a sneak peak via some iPhone snaps... (More to come on the website over the next couple months leading up to Collection One’s release this summer!)
