The February Edit: Vintage

Slowly meandering through busy marketplaces and down small side streets. Dipping into tiny shops where the weavers are all related to each other and their work tells stories of their family, faith and community. New to me, so very familiar to them. I miss this kind of traveling, experiencing, learning.

One day it will be like that again but, while we wait, I’m opening up my doors to share a small collection of my favorite vintage textiles I’ve gathered.

These storied textiles were dyed and woven using Mayan techniques that have been passed down through their ancestors for longer than anyone can remember. They are a beautiful reminder of the world outside the four walls of our home.

Home — the place most of us now spend the majority of our time. May these pillows freshen it up for you and, with this small shift, also refresh your perspective. There is a world beyond our walls, and we will once again explore and marvel in it.

Four new vintage pillow styles, now available online.
